About the Artist

Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado, who performs under his surname Ozuna, is a Puerto Rican reggaeton and Latin trap singer who is regarded as the “New King of Reggaeton”. He was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico and made his musical debut in 2012 with the song “Imaginando”, and his breakthrough hit “Si Tu Marido No Te Quiere” came in 2015. He released his first album Odisea in August of 2017. All three of his albums have topped the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart, and his second album Aura reached number seven on the Billboard 200. He is one of the best-selling Latin music artists of all time, having sold around 15 million records, and has more one billion-view videos on YouTube than any other artist. Among his awards are five Billboard Music Awards, twelve Billboard Latin Music Awards and four Guinness World Records. In 2018, he was one of Time‘s 100 most influential people in the world.

‘papi’ –  In music this term is often used as a general term of affection for any man, whether it’s a relative, friend, or lover. However, in this song this term is a colloquial term for ‘daddy’.
