Possessive Adjectives

Possessive adjectives define who owns or possesses a noun. They come before the noun they modify and have to agree with the noun in gender and number.

As French doesn’t like two vowel sound together, feminine nouns that begin with a vowel or a mute ‘h’ use ‘mon’, ‘ton’ and ‘son’ instead of ‘ma’, ‘ta’ and ‘sa’. We see an example of this in this song with ‘mon histoire’.
